181st Street Corridor, NY, NY -- For Manhattan Borough President's Office, a comprehensive study with recommendations in order to improve pedestrian safety and mobility for a crowded shopping district that also serves as an alternate route to the George Washington Bridge through the Washington Heights section of Manhattan.

Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, NY -- For Community Consulting Services, redesign of pedestrian access on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade in order to eliminate pedestrian/vehicle conflicts.

Brooklyn Bridge Promenade, NY, NY -- For NYC Department of Transportation, analysis of operating characteristics of the promenade on the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge; development of alternative entry/exit schemes for pedestrians and bicyclists, working with full array of community interests; development of alternative roadway alignments and safety features to improve operating characteristics.

Hutchinson River Parkway Safety Improvements, Bronx, NY -- For NYSDOT, identification of pedestrian safety problems and proposal of alternative solutions in a high density area with a high proportion of seniors and disabled residents. The process included traffic data collection and analysis; accident, bicycle, pedestrian and transit studies; ITS planning; environmental assessment; and community outreach.

Hutchinson River Parkway Safety Study, Bronx, NY -- For NYSDOT, rehabilitation planning for a deteriorated pedestrian/bicycle path, including selection of a new Class I path via relocation of crosswalks and construction of pedestrian bridges.

Queens Boulevard Bridge Reconstruction, Queens, NY -- For New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), Bureau of Bridges, developed the Maintenance & Protection of Traffic (M&PT) program for optimally scheduling the reconstruction of the Queens Blvd. Bridge, including maintenance of pedestrian access to LaGuardia Community College and DeVry Technical Institute from local subway stations. Updated and refined M&PT for final construction conditions.

Brooklyn Queens Expressway, Broadway-25th Avenue, Queens, NY -- For NYSDOT, assisted with traffic impact assessment; undertook detailed pedestrian counts utilizing vehicle conflict analysis procedure developed by Konheim & Ketcham; assisted in development of unique interchange design at Northern Blvd. and the BQE.

Clearview Expressway, Queens, NY -- For NYSDOT, analyzed impacts of reconstruction of the interchange with the Long Island Expressway on pedestrians on residence-lined service roads with nearby schools. Conducted community outreach and analyzed pedestrian/vehicle conflicts to provide recomendations to reduce impacts.
