Ms. Patarini is an effective project coordinator whose broad range of planning experience includes traffic, parking, and pedestrian studies and the design process for major highways. She has worked as an architect and urban planner with public planning agencies, consultants and community development organizations. § Nine Bridges over the Van Wyck Expressway, Queens, NY (NYSDOT, 2004) - Produced comprehensive study of pedestrian and cyclists conditions in the interface of highways and local streets. Researched, mapped and analyzed accident and traffic data, documented field observations. Graphically depicted pedestrian path, existing problems and potential solutions, including conceptual design of pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Will be coordinating community outreach.
§ Bronx River Parkway at Gun Hill Road and Mosholu Parkway, Bronx NY (NYSDOT, 2004) – Organized the environmental assessment of a Draft Design Report for the addition of highway lanes in a park setting following the format of the NYSDOT EPM. Assisted in field investigations and evaluation of potential wetland and parkland impacts. Will be coordinating community outreach.
§ FDR Drive at 116th Street, Manhattan, NY (NYSDOT, 2004) – Assisting by producing GIS mapping a CORSIM traffic simulation model of proposed extensions and widening of acceleration and deceleration lanes on the FDR Drive that will require changes to local streets. Will be coordinating community outreach.
§ Grand Central Parkway 94th Street Interchange Improvements, East Elmhurst, NY (NYSDOT, 2004) – Assisting in noise modeling and air quality analysis by producing the graphic interface in GIS and CAD for the Traffic Noise Model (TNM) and preparing emissions data inputs to an air quality screening analysis and CO dispersion modeling, if needed.
§ Safety Investigation of High Accident Locations, New York City (NYSDOT, 2004) – Assisting a Safety Audit Accident Analysis by producing GIS mapping.
§ Route 347 Reconstruction, Suffolk County, NY (NYSDOT, 2004) – Coordinating community outreach, including assembly and management of multiple databases, preparation of extensive mailing list and coordination of mailing.
§ Route 25/Route 112 Reconstruction, Suffolk County, NY (NYSDOT, 2004) - Assisting traffic noise modeling of selected alternative by producing GIS mapping and CAD drawings and conducting noise measurements.
§ Homes and Gardens Plan, Bronx, NY (South Bronx Unites Gardens, 2004) – Created a comprehensive plan based on previous research (Melrose Commons Urban Renewal Plan), CAD drawing, sketches, GIS mapping, presentations, public meetings.
